Esthetic and restorative dentistry are excellent investments for an individual’s overall well being. Despite the fact that some of these procedures can be expensive, we strongly believe that financial considerations should not get in the way of getting the treatment you desire. We are sensitive to the fact that each patient has different needs and we have several payment options available so that treatment is accessible to everyone. All financial discussions and arrangements are kept strictly confidential.
Our financial policy is intended to facilitate excellent service to you while minimizing administrative costs. As a courtesy, we will bill your insurance company. We will also estimate what your insurance might contribute toward your dental care and we ask that you pay what is estimated to be the remaining portion of your balance at each visit.
Many people are under the impression that if they have dental insurance, it is the insurance company that owes the dentist for service. Unfortunately, this is not the case. The insurance contract is between the insurance company and you, so the patient is responsible for the bill, regardless of insurance coverage. Most insurance companies pay within two weeks, although some may take longer.
We will do everything possible to assist you in receiving whatever benefit your insurance might pay. However, any balance left unpaid by your insurance company after 60 days will become your responsibility to pay at that time. Balances older than 60 days are subject to finance charges at the rate of 1.5% per month (18% annually).
Our office accepts cash, personal checks, VISA, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express. Extended payment plans are available through CareCredit upon request and approval. If you have any questions regarding our financial policy, please ask. We are committed to providing you with the most positive experience possible in dental care.
